Wolności Square

Located in the very centre of Zabrze, in the district called South Centre. The square is directly adjoining Wolności street.

The buildings around the square are mainly thetenement houses built at the turn of the 19th and 20thcenturies. Most of them are now housing the private apartments or retail spots. There are also numerous benches, green belt, some trees and characteristic street lamps.

The square surface was paved with sett stone. It is car-free zone. Tramway tracks run along the square.

''Under the Eagle'' Tenement and Zabrze Gallery are located in close proximity.
