The viaduct

The viaduct located over the railways in Gliwice, in Silesian province. Over one hundred years old construction painted grey and blue. The pavements with the railings are located on both sides of the viaduct. Three traffic lanes that used to accommodate tram lines years ago.

From the viaduct the view of train depot, trains and building development.  The SilesianUniversity of Technology, and central highway that is currently under construction are in close proximity.

The shooting of “The shadow” by Jerzy Kawalerowicz from 1955 took place on the very viaduct.
