The Trinity Church in Będzin
A historic church located in Będzin. Since the beginning of the 13th century the church has undergone many changes. It owes its present look to priest Leopold Dobrzański, who has built a new chapel, sacristy and temple porch in the 19th century.
In the baroque style interior of the church we can find:
- nave,
- late baroque main altar with a painting of the Trinity,
- choir loft with organ,
- pulpit with a statue of John the Evangelist,
- stained glass windows.
The church is located in a nice surrounding, on a small hill, close to Góra Zamkowa. The area around a parsonage is surrounded by a wall from one side. From the church’s terrace there is a view of western and southern part of the city.
