The main square, Wodzisław Śląski
One of the largest squares in the Silesia province. The square’s plans date back to 1257, what confirms its centuries-long history. It is built on the square plan (96x96 meters) and has been lined with the slab. Around the square there are:
- Numerous tenement houses from 19th century (converted into apartments and service units),
- Large green square with the bushes and trees,
- Benches,
- Fountain.
Many historic streets lead up to the main square. The classic Dietrichstein’s palace that houses the registry office is located in close proximity.
