Rybnik Reservoir
Rybnik Reservoir was created by damming the river waters of Ruda in one of the districts of Rybnik. Its capacity is 22 million m3 and a total area is 4.5 km2.
Around the reservoir there are among others:
- several yacht clubs,
- campsite,
- cafés,
- recreation centres,
- and the equestrian centre “Index”.
Recreation areas with playgrounds, beach and food stands have been made in some coastal zones.
In the vicinity there is the Rybnik Power Station.
