Rosarium (Rose garden), Silesia Park
One of the biggest rose gardens in Europe and the biggest in Poland, covering the area of 7 ha. It was opened in 1968 as a part of the Silesia Park located in Chorzów.
Within the Rosarium we can find:
- around 300 sorts of roses,
- honeycomb and lens shaped flower-beds,
- tree roses and rambling roses growing round the garden sheds and pergolas as well as park roses twining around metal constructions.
You can find here numerous green spaces, benches and charming water holes.
In the vicinity there are the Silesian Amusement Park, Planetarium and 'Elka' cableway.
