Railway tracks at ‘Wieczorek’ coal mine

Railway tracks are located close to the historic housing estate of Nikiszowiec and ‘Wieczorek’ coal mine and are used for cargo transportation.

There is a view of the industrial landscape of the coal mine with smokestacks and a mining shaft as well as red-brick buildings and a large St. Anne’s Church located at the heart of the housing estate. The tracks intersect the bustling road leading to the centre of Nikiszwiec. Here are an old-fashioned crossing guard’s shelter and semaphores.
