Water Tower Restaurant
A Water Tower was built in 1926 by Jan Gustaw Grycz and from the very beginning it delighted with its design. For many years it was used to keep constant pressure in the municipal water system. At the time there were also a bath house, a hairdresser’s, a beauty salon, a language centre and a radio station.
In October 2010, on the highest floor of the 40-floor building, the opening of the Water Tower Restaurant took place. The restaurant is placed on two floors of the building. A reception room, decorated in the Steampunk style, was put into guests' use as well.
In the interiors resembling the Victorian style we can find:
- lamps with luminous spirals,
- seat ressembling a dentist's chair from the 19th century,
- and mobile cogs build-in the glass table-tops.
Industrial character of the place enables filmmakers to produce many films here.
