The tram terminus

The tram terminus was founded upon carrying out the main “Gierek’s” investment - Katowice Steelworks in Dąbrowa Górnicza. Its opening ceremony took place in 1977. Together with the steelworks the tram terminus was built in order to connect its premises with the city centre.

In the tram terminus premises are found:

- tram stop,

- sizeable, metal, yellow shelter located right above the stop,

- metal building with its elevation covered with graffiti.

Katowice Steelworks is located in close proximity.

The tram terminus is located in industrial part of the city and surrounded by the green belt. Thanks to that the location is very diverse.
