Swimming pool in the Palace of Youth

A location situated in the Palace of Youth in Katowice, in the inner centre of the city.

The six-lane swimming pool underwent major renovation in 2012.

Size of the place:

- lenght: 25 m,

- width: 12.5 m,

- depth: 0.9 m – 1.2 m – 3.6 m.

On the premises of the swimming pool there are lifeguards' staff rooms, changing rooms and a small space for exercise with mattresses and therapeutic ladders.

Natural lighting prevails inside, thanks to huge windows. There is a possibility to walk upstairs to the balcony from the level of the surface of the water.
