St Matthias the Apostle Church in Siewierz

Roman Catholic temple erected in the 15th century in Siewierz. It was rebuilt twice by two bishops, first between 1647 and 1657, then between 1782 and 1784. It represents the Baroque-Classical style. An interior of the church is modest with a richly ornamented altar.

 

The temple is surrounded by a wall from the 18th century, with a displayed bishop's gate leading to the churchyard.

 

Next to the building there is vast green area and a belt with parking spaces
