SILESIAN MUSEUM- NEW BUILDING

A new building of the Silesian Museum, located in the city centre of Katowice, delights with the architecture.

Modern glass towers, built on a post-industrial land, allow better exposure of the exhibits beneath and match buildings of the Katowice Coal Mine perfectly.

Post-mine buildings from the turn of the 19th and 20th century were adapted for i.a. exhibition areas, restaurants and observation tower.
