Saint Nicholas Catedral

A cathedral owes its present look to the overhaul in 1912. Located in the Old Town, it is one of the biggest sanctuaries in Bielsko- Biała. It is an example of a mixture of architectural styles, beginning with the Gothic style and ending with the modern style.

The church includes:

- over 60- meter high tower, which resembles Saint Mark’s bell towers in Venice,

- nave with colorful stained- glass windows in the Art Nouveau style, made by the Viennese artist- Harflinger,

- Way of the Cross stations from 1860,

- 51- voice organ.

Around the cathedral there are nothing but tenement houses. In front of the sanctuary there is a parking lot.
