Przeczyce Lake

A lake was formed on the Czarna Przemsza river in 1963 near Przeczyce and Siewierz. It is diversified when it comes to topography. It is maximally 9.1 m deep, 4.2 km long and 1.5 km wide.

By definition the reservoir was to perform environmental and flood control functions. However, the lake is mainly used for tourism and recreation now. Numerous sailboats, small boats with fishermen and places for motorboat sports and water-skiing became  highlights of the spot.

At the bank there are many lodges, food stands and a beach.
