Poniatowski mine shaft

The mine shaft was launched in 1911, and it was 400 m deep. It is a part of Wieczorek Mine. Since
2017, the shaft has been buried, and the buildings are owned by the city of Katowice. However, a
shaft winder dated back to 1980 was preserved together with the entire system of machinery and
measuring devices.
