Pławniowice Lake

Located in Pławniowice (Rudziniec district) lake came into being as the result of the sand pit's flooding. Its total area amounts to 250 ha, its depth is 18 meters. The area around the  lake is partially covered with forest.

The basin is also used for the recreational purposes by the inhibitants of the nearby towns. One can find here, among others: guarded watering places, campsites, marina and food courts. There are also hiking trails as well as the bike lane available.

Palace and park complex in Pławniowice and A1 motorway are located in close proximity.
