‘Parkowe’ Nature Reserve
The ‘Parkowe’ nature reserve is located in Kraków- Częstochowa Jurassic Upland. It was founded in 1957 to preserve a landscape of rocky forms, historic stand of trees and hills. A total area of the reserve is 155.22 ha.
It includes:
- barrage ponds system, located in a centre of the reserve,
- historic Kołaczew Mill,
- small bridge near Kołaczew,
- huge rocks, called Devil Bridge rocks,
- Twardowski’s Gate,
- Bear’s cave.
Close to the reserve there is a city of Częstochowa.
