Educational Centre
A Special Educational Centre, led by the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy of St. Charles Borromeo, is located in Katowice. A building was erected in 1904 on the initiative of the priests Konrad Ściborski and Karol Abramski. From the very beginning it has served as the house for orphans.
It is a red-brick building, built on the hill, next to the byway leading to the cemetery. The building is situated on the outskirts of the city, near the St. Hedwig's Roman-Catholic Parish.
On the premises of the Centre there are among others:
- residential rooms,
- playrooms,
- gym,
- dining room,
- chapel,
- garden,
- playground.
In the vicinity there is a city of Mysłowice.
