Detached houses

The houses located in Giszowiec district, close to Nikiszowiec, which is one of the oldest districts of Katowice. Giszowiec is situated among vast green area, about 6 kilometers far from the city centre.

Large panel blocks of flats constitute the great partof the district. However, you can find here historic detached and semi-detached houses, which previously belonged to the housing estate of the 'Giesche' coal mine. First houses were built at the beginning of the 20^th century. Most of them are renewed and well-kept, with small gardens at the estates. The area is very green and there are many trees. Among the buildings runs the asphalt road.

In the vicinity there are among others: a park, water tower and the Bolina resort.
