Country cottages

Cottages are the pride of Istebna, the village in Beskid Śląski. Traditional country cottages from the middle of 19^th century, located next to Jan Kawulok’s cottage. Wooden, covered with shingle roof, consist of two rooms and the entrance hall, adjoining patio and the gardens. The cottages are surrounded by the remarkable mountain scenery, the forests, meadows and the Olza river flowing through the village.

Located within the borders of historic Cieszyn Silesia, close to Czech Republic and Slovakia. The total area of the village amounts to 4741ha whereas the area of the district to 84,25 km².

Ustroń, Wisła, Skoczów and Jastrzębie Zdrój are located in close proximity.

The shooting of the TV series “Four tank-men and a dog” took place in Istebna.
