Buildings in the Będzin city centre

The city centre of Będzin has undergone numerous transformations over the course of its existence, e.g. consisting in demolition of a large number of townhouses and liquidation of the square in order to create Kołłątaja Street, or liquidation of the tram line going through the key streets within the old town area.

Despite numerous changes, there are some noteworthy buildings and places, such as:

– The row of townhouses along the entire Małachowskiego Street

– The Kino Nowość cinema

– The renovated townhouse with the office of ING Bank

– The 3rd May Square

– Cafe Jerozolima

– Marketplace facilities and the marketplace (informally called “the Halls”)

– The residential block at 21 Piłsudskiego Street
