Border crossing

Polish and Czech border crossing between the cities of ChaƂupki and Bohumin. It was closed in December, 2007 under the Schengen Agreement.

The border crossing includes two customs houses, formerly used by the border guard, connected together with a long, wide shed. The sheet-metal roof is yellow. Next to the border crossing on the Bohumin’s side there is a bridge, under which the Oder River flows. In front of the shed there are 3 flagpoles: Polish, Czech and the European Union.

In the vicinity there are A1 highway and the city of Ostrava.
