Bear’s cave

A prehistoric dwelling of huntsmen chasing rhinos and mammoths. It was founded several thousand years ago and is situated in Kraków- Częstohowa Upland. It is one of the most often visited caves on the area of Jurassic Upland. It is surrounded by woods and bushes, in the ‘Parkowe’ nature reserve.

An interior of the cave is 70 m long, perceptible temperature starts from 10°C, humidity: 85%, only natural lighting- no electricity.

Close to the cave there is the Trail of the Eagles’ Nests and Zygmunt Krasiński’s manor house.
