Park
A park in Mikołów called Planty was created in the 18th century. The area is divided into Małe [Small] and Duże [Big] Planty and is located between Konstytucji 3 Maja street and the Alexander stream. The park was built on the premises of former farms. The place is extremely popular among the residents of Mikołów and constitutes one of the main meeting spots. Except of the numerous wetlands, which became a habitat of ducks, there are:
- Park House,
- playgrounds,
- small bridges,
- alleys with lanterns.
An indoor swimming pool and an ice rink have been built on the edge of the park.
