Oder River border meander, Chałupki

The Oder River border meander constitute a borderline between the Czech Republic and Poland, dividing the cities of Bohumin and Chałupki.

 

The river flows through the Natura 2000 Network. Depending on the area, the winding river can change its intesity. The riversides are dynamic and start from shallow, flat parts and end with cliffs that are several meters high. The river is even a few meters deep. Located in the middle of the forest becomes a magic place in spring and summer seasons. Extremely popular among fishermen and canoeists.
