Market square, Pilica

One of the most important spots in Pilica. A medieval market square preserved its spatial plan and thanks to revitalisation of the monuments, it regained its former brilliance. The market square includes among others:

- city hall, which is a replica of a building from the 17^th century, which foundations were discovered at the beginning of 2000,

- historic tenement houses,

- well,

- retail and service outlets.

During summer months the market square teems with life and becomes a central meeting place of the residents. Pilica is often compared to the city of Sandomierz and would be a perfect film setting for many feature films.
