Market Square in Bieruń

The urban layout of the Old Town in Bieruń is a typical example of a medieval town where the marketplace is constructed on the basis of a square and constitutes the central point of the town.

In 2004 – 2005 the market square was modernised. There is a sundial and a monument of Silesian Insurgents in the market square. It is cobble-stoned.
