House of Music and Dance

Built in 1959 the House of Music and Dance in Zabrze is one of the most popular cultural centers in Poland. It was designed by Zygmunt Majerski and Julian Duchowicz.

The monumental building consists of:

- large concert hall with the auditorium for 2000 people and the scene (18x8m),

- café,

- foyer,

- dressing rooms,

- office spaces,

- rest and refreshment rooms,

- cloakrooms.

It is the place where numerous local as well as nationwide events take place.

There is a big square with the stairs in front of the building.
