Combined heat and power plant Miechowice

Located in Bytom –Miechowice, together with the combined heat and power plant Szombierki forms the complex: Zespół Elektrociepłowni Bytom S.A.

It was built between 1950 and 1954 in the premises of the former power plant.

The building consists of:

- four chimneys

- eight power boilers

- three turbine generator sets with 125 MW capacity

It is located in the centre of urban forest and surrounded by the trees  and the meadows. In front of the building there is a large area with available parking spaces.

It is the main combined heat and power supplier to the local market.
