Carnall mineshaft

The mineshaft of the one of the oldest coal mines in Poland and Europe – Queen Luisa mine, was built between 1854-1912.

The steel construction is 25 meters high and 503 meters deep. The observation deck with the view of the city is located upon the mineshaft.

The mineshaft is located in Zabrze and together with the entire complex it is now an open-air museum.
