Bytomka Valley

Located in the Kolonia Zgorzelec, the district of Bytom, the Bytomka Valley is the gathering of at least several ponds. The ponds were created due to the men’s activities in the excavations and the cavities. The valley takes its name after the river Bytomka (19,2 km of length) entering the Kłodnica River in Gliwice.

 

In the valley, except for the ponds one can find the suspension bridge, wooden footbridge as well as various kind of birds’ breeding nests.

The valley itself is diverse. Some of the places are inaccessible to people, due to its wild vegetation and wetland terrain. Despite than many anglers can be spotted around the ponds.
