Winner of the Award of the Mayor of Wodzisław Śląski in the Field of Culture and Art in 2021. I am a music composer, bass guitarist and arranger. I am involved in artistic creation and dissemination of culture, and I actively participate in the cultural activities of the city of Wodzisław Śląski. I am also a session musician. For me, music is a reflection of the human soul and at the same time an opportunity to express oneself. I hope that the atmosphere of the songs and the unique and reflective nature of the compositions contribute to an unusual encounter with my work. One of my dreams is for my music to be used in films, to color the image, to become part of it, to give the films the right character and mood, and to emphasize the director’s intentions.

1) The album “SOUNDS OF MEMORY” released in 2019 – a project consisting of poems and camp prose read by me, enriched with musical interpretations – compositions for bass guitar. The album is available in three bookstores in Poland: at the Auschwitz-Birknenau State Museum, the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw and at the Art Bookstore (at: https://artbookstore.pl/robert-kempa-dzwieki-pamieci) and the bookstore located next to the State Museum at Majdanek.
2) The album “SECOND HORIZON” – released in 2020, contains instrumental compositions whose character and atmosphere refer to human emotions and feelings. 3) Currently, work in the GOrecords recording studio in Wodzisław has been completed on the new album entitled “HUMAN”. This album is a picture of a man in his relationship with himself and other people, painted with sounds. The album will include songs about feelings, emotions and experiences that people experience in their lives. Using the sounds of the bass guitar in a thoughtful way, I try to convey to the listeners everything that is an integral part of every person’s life and what is of the highest value to a person. 4) Participation in the “Coolturalny GOŚCI WCK” event, which took place on February 17, 2020 at the Wodzisław Cultural Center. 5) Concert as part of the #siećzkulturąwdomu campaign – an event organized by the Wodzisław Cultural Center. 6) Participation in a unique cultural event: Municipal Celebrations of the 75th Anniversary of the Death March of 1945. 7) Musical setting for vernissages, exhibitions, cultural events and own concerts.
